Bisque firing takes about 9+ hours. Once the bisque firing is complete, the final glaze is hand painted, allowed to dry, and then fired again in the final stage (another 9+ hours). These cups underwent a third firing, for the image decals, another 9+ hours.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe photo shows the actual piece you will receive. Expect slight perfect-imperfections, as each piece is 100% made by hand.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCaring for your piece:\u003cbr\u003e\n» Dishwasher safe, however hand-washing is recommended. In order to prolong the glaze color, sheen, and overall durability, I recommend hand-washing with a mild detergent, like Dawn.
