Monarch Butterfly Ceramic Small Coffee Spoon Rest, Handmade Stoneware Pottery Jewelry Trinket Dish, Bright Colors, Nature Gift for Mom

Each of these rustic dishes has a beautiful tactile pattern stamped into the clay. A monarch butterfly design, pebble pattern, and old world diamond pattern are imprinted on each of my small, handmade stoneware dishes. Use as a trinket bowl for earrings and jewelry, tea bag rest, pill dish, or as a mini spoon rest for coffee and tea lovers. Each is handmade, hand painted, and is functional ceramic pottery.

Once the clay is bone dry, I fire to bisque in my small home studio kiln. Bisque firing takes about 8+ hours. Once the bisque firing is complete, the final glaze is hand painted, allowed to dry, and then fired again in the final stage (another 8+ hours).

Caring for your piece:
» Dishwasher safe, however hand-washing is recommended. In order to prolong the glaze color, sheen, and overall durability, I recommend hand-washing with a mild detergent, like Dawn. Prolonged exposure to harsh detergents could eventually affect the glaze color.
» Microwave safe, but take care, as pottery can get hot.
» Do not place in oven or on stove top.
» Do not pour boiling water, as thermal shock could occur.
» The glaze is food safe, lead-free, and non-toxic.
» Ceramic pottery should be treated with care, as it can break, chip, or crack if dropped.
