Encaustic Raven Original Painting, Blue Black Brown Mixed Media Art on Wood Cradle Board

My hand-painted raven bird, mixed-media encaustic beeswax and oil paint, is a unique gift, and perfect for bird lovers. My original raven photo is melted into several layers of natural beeswax with brown, turquoise, and black oil paints. The surface is satiny with uneven textures.

This piece is an encaustic with a collage from photos I took. The raven is from Colorado. The iron grate is from Positano. It’s a laser transfer and oil paint over encaustic and fused with heat.

In order to prolong the durability, display out of direct sunlight. Keep from heat or flame, as natural wax can melt if excessive heat is applied.
Keep from freezing temperatures.
Wax is naturally susceptible to marks and marring. Hang or display securely.
Dust lightly with a soft, lint-free cloth and do not rub excessively as scratches could be made.
