Sunflower Ceramic Spoon Rest, Yellow Stoneware Handmade Pottery for Stovetop, Floral Flower Yellow Dish

My wheel-thrown, spoon rest dishes are 100% handmade and are functional ceramic pottery. Perfect, classy decor additions for a stove top or tabletop spoon rest, coffee and tea bar, soap dish, wine bottle drip tray, or trinket dish.

One piece features my hand drawn sunflower that I turned into a stamp. The other is a stylized mandala flower. Both are glazed with a bright, lemon yellow, satin glaze.

Once the clay is bone dry, I fire to bisque in my small home studio kiln. Bisque firing takes about 9+ hours. Once the bisque firing is complete, the final glaze is hand painted, allowed to dry, and then fired again in the final stage (another 9+ hours).

Each piece is 100% unique. The photo corresponds the actual piece you will receive.

Caring for your piece:
» Dishwasher safe, however hand-washing is recommended. In order to prolong the glaze sheen and overall durability, I recommend hand-washing with a mild detergent, like Dawn.
» Microwave safe, but take care, as pottery can get hot.
» Do not place in oven or on stove top.
» Do not pour boiling water, as thermal shock could occur.
» The glaze is food safe, lead-free, and non-toxic.
» Ceramic pottery should be treated with care, as it can break, chip, or crack if dropped.
