Tucson Roadrunner - Bird Original Acrylic Painting

While having lunch one day on a recent trip to Tucson, I saw this cute little roadrunner keep walking by looking for snacks. The shadows were striking and I loved the photo, so I decided to paint it.

This piece is finished with archival cold wax medium, giving it a soft satiny finish.
